Charleston Forge

In 2005 I started designing furniture for Charleston Forge, a furniture manufacturing company located in the Blue Ridge mountains. I have designed these tables and chairs to reflect several styles and tastes from clasical to contemporary. All items are 100% handforged with a variety of tops and sizes. This past fall I spent six weeks with the forgers and welders teaching all aspects of each component from the cutting of the steel, through the final clearcoating. These folks have worked very hard to learn the techniques required to produce items such as the Davant console table with its intricate split scrolls and opposing twists.
